Stiff Breezes

Well, the temperature has been on the mild side lately but the wind is another story. Here's a breeze from the northwest standing the new windsock at attention.

We had wind gusts of 60+ mph last week and the trails were loaded with blown down branches. A few of 'em were real "widowmakers".

But, I suppose that's just nature's primative pruning technique.
