Last Day as 50something
Yup! This it it, folks. The last day before the Big Six Zero.
To celebrate the passage, I'm on a three-day golf trip with the boys. Yesterday it was High Meadows in Roaring Gap.
Here they are on the 18th tee at Jefferson Landing this morning. My partner said I was missing for the first 17 holes, so I'm the one not in the photograph. By the way, that's Mount Jefferson in the background. The rain held off and we had a nice morning of golf.
Tomorrow it's the PGA course at Tanglewood in Clemmons.
What a great way to start the sixth decade!

Dave:
ReplyDeleteI have a cabin over on Air Bellows Gap Road. I will be there this weekend, coming from my home in Las Cruces, New Mexico. I am a student at NMSU. I also broke the 60 sound barrier, last January. Being an undergrad student again is even better than golf.
I just tripped across your weather site last night while I was checking on Sparta weather. I have used an Oregon Station at the cabin for several years and am envious of your Davis station. Your site is very attractive and well done! Great info and the camera shot is great too.
Best to you,
