OK, I finally got my wireless network to function properly last evening after a 3-week struggle. And, I didn't even have to dye my hair purple to do it. Oh, it's a little grayer now maybe, and I've certainly exhausted my supply of "gosh darns". But the thing is working.

I've even added a UltraVNC client and server so that I can control one computer with the other. What does that mean? It means I can sit on the deck in my Lounge Lizard with my laptop and control the computer in the loft running the Sunset Ridge weather station while sipping a Martini, that's what it means!

Billy Gates, you are forgiven ... for the moment.
