The Big Six Zero

The sun came up this morning and I still have a pulse. The boys and I played golf on the Robert Trent Jones course at Tanglewood in Clemmons today. We drove by the exit on I-40 to the Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem and there wasn't a sign announcing my birth there on this day in 1946. We enjoyed barbecue at Stamey's in Greensboro for lunch. The CFO and Thriller are taking me to dinner at Daniel's Pizza Pasta Cafe in Cary this evening.

Despite it being my 60th birthday, I feel about the same today as I did yesterday. The sun will set and life will go on for a little while longer. I'll just not going to feel badly about asking for the senior citizen discount anymore!

Life is good.

Lyle, Dick and Tom (in order of seniority), thanks for taking a long weekend to celebrate this passage with me.
