Death & Taxes

Well, folks, the tax season is rapidly approaching and I'm suppose to be getting the 2006 returns ready to send later this month. But, alas, it was raining yesterday and I found myself in the basement sculpting with 9-inch nails, old pieces of wood and odd bits of metal that I had found in the Alleghany County dump. Wonderful stuff, really. And, except for the county taxes, it's all free for the taking.

The first three pieces are a triptych entitled "3 Phi" after the Golden Proportions used in the rectangles. They are purely decorative and can be hung as shown here or side by side. They can also be rotated 90° and hung horizontally or vertically.

Since the folks down at Alleghany Arts and Crafts are having so much trouble explaining my allegorical pieces, I made this easy one that I've entitled "Before the Fall (Adam & Eve Dancing)". Sure hope it works!

And, once I got into figures, I couldn't stop. With apologies to Titan, Manet and Cezanne, here is "Olympia III".

As Borat would say, "I hope you like!"

Oh, yeah. Back to taxes.

Ugh!

When are they due?
