Electric
What a pleasant day on the mountain. The temperature has moderated and we have a gentle breeze. That naturally lead to a nice afternoon nap!
I did managed to run an underground electrical line to the fish pond for operating the water pump. In keeping with electrical codes, I added a $13 ground fault receptacle to protect the $0.28 fish from electrocution! Then I had to build a little "fish house" out of a hollow log to protect the receptacle from rain to avoid a self-fulfilling ground fault, no less. Crazy.
This is the quietest time of the year on the mountain. No Harley Hogs to speak of yet on the parkway. No chain saws cutting firewood. No gunshot reports from hunters in the woods. Just the thumping of that $%*$^@ robin on the window.
Which reminds me that Suzy Q enjoyed a dinner tonight of junko with a hummingbird appetizer. Both, I believe, were victims of fatal crashes with the windows.
If only she were interested in that $%*$^@ robin.
