OK, folks, in the interest of increasing your direct participation in this blog and making it more interactive, I've turned the word verification switch to the OFF position for commenting. That means you can now make public comments on postings without going through the process of reading a series of random letters and entering them into a dialog box before posting your comments.

I'll leave the switch off so long as the machine-generated spam comments are minimal.
