On outward appearances, there's not much to show for a day's work. But, all the blocks are in place. They are filled with block and brick shard, concrete, rock, etc. There's also infrastructure added for lid hinges and the like.
And, before one of the barbecue bunch asks, that's NOT a gas line. It's the power line rerouted in plastic conduit with a new GFI receptacle in a protective plastic bag. You can never have too many outlets.
Tomorrow it's bricks and the coals door on the front.
