Of Pigs & Trees

Well, the pork shoulder came out just fine and we enjoyed it for dinner last night along with slaw and corn-on-the-cob. I tried to sneak a piece to Kyle but it wasn't the right shape to spark his interests. Anyhow, after I had dinner and he had dinner separately, it was time for us to guard the couch. This kid catches on fast!


We drove by the Peaceful Valley Trout Farm yesterday but all the fishing poles were a little too big for Kyle to get his hands around just yet. Maybe next time.

What Kyle really likes to do right now is sit on the porch, or go on a walk in the woods, and watch the trees. He's absolutely mesmerized by them. Show him a tree and he's one happy baby.
