Back in the USSR
Last evening I was reading a piece on the recent press conference held by FEMA on the wildfires out in California and a really scary thought went stampeding through my head. Didn't the Soviet Union use to send government shills to ask the questions at their press conferences?
Politics has been said to be a circle with the extreme right and extreme left butting up against one another. So, was the FEMA press conference a sign that we are "Back in the USSR" or was it just a simple act of stupidity?
Considering the bunch heading up the administrative branch of our government these days, it could have been either ... or both.
