Moon Set

Murphy woke me this morning to request a visit outside just as the sun was beginning to rise.


And, as I waited for him to return I glanced to the west and saw a rare treat.


A full moon was setting in the west at sunrise!


It was something of a diminutive Ansel Adams moment for me.


Technically speaking, the moon is full today with sunrise at 7:10 am and moon set at 7:20 am.

Hmmm, I wonder when that combination of events will happen again.
