Unemployment Up
The unemployment in North Carolina and the US of A increased by one today. Yes, indeed, I filled for Unemployment Insurance Compensation with the North Carolina Employment Security Commission this afternoon. The various governments has been taking taxes out of my wages since my first paycheck in the early 1960's and now I figure it's time for them to pay up.`
Seems that I must seek employment to receive this Unemployment Insurance Compensation. Now, that's something I haven't done in 25 years and only once in 35 years. As such, I might be a little rusty and could use any help and suggestions that you, dear readers with experience in such things, might have to offer. And, of course, if any of y'all got a job of work that needs doing, I'll be more than happy to interview for it. I'm a little expensive, but good!
Gotta go work on that resume.
