Behold the mighty onion!
This one has been in the pantry closet, in a container, in the dark, for a month or so. How does it know that it's the time of year to sprout?
Put a homo sapient in there and, after a day or so, it hasn't a clue about the world outside. But a "dumb" onion somehow knows.
Speaking of sprouting, I almost stepped on these daffodils yesterday. Yes, spring cannot be far away.
And, these Lenten Roses are poking their heads through just in time for, well, Lent.
Us humans aren't half as smart as we think we are, especially when it comes to things natural. And, nothing in nature needs a battery or 2G of computer memory!
