Digging to China
I must admit that as a child (and well before I knew about all that molten nickle at the center of the earth) I tried digging to China on at least one occasion. Sam, however, does it regularly!
While I'm working in the garden, she is hunting chipmunks or, as they are called locally, ground squirrels. As you can see, she really gets into it. The chipmunk, of course, needs a much smaller hole than Sam, and often when Murph and I leave for the house, she continues in her quest.
It's good exercise for the old gal and she does no harm. Plus, she sleeps well at night!
The music in the video, written by Herr Bach in the jazzy key of E major, is played on guitar.
