Kiss My Cecum
Well, today was Black Thursday, otherwise known as Silver Snake Day. Every time I go through with the procedure, I come out thinking that it wasn't all that bad. And, it isn't. The worst part is the colon cleansing process the day and night before the procedure and that has gotten a great deal shorter and easier with new chemicals.
So, here's a view of the inside of my cecum as it approaches 62 years of age. It's at the end of the colon opposite my you-know-what and the appendix is attached to it. My guess is that the doctor makes a picture of it as a record proving that he investigated the entire length of the colon.
