Sometime over a year ago a fellow named Mike Hopson from over in Tennessee visited to take a look at Sidney. Seems he wanted to build a Lexington-style pit and had read about Wilber. I had forgotten about his visit until an email arrived today with a photograph of his "Wilber" pit.


What a beauty! He's using cast iron doors (not installed in the photo) and has made a number of other improvements and embellishments that I can see.
