Thriller Bites the Dust
They are dropping likes flies, folks. First Bliss and, now, Thriller.
Yup, Thriller is sporting some new bling on the ring finger of her left hand, a symbol of her bethrothal to Breeze. I am, however, still in negotiations with him and his family over the bride price and, as such, the bethrothal contract is still something of a "letter of intent with final price to be settled at a later time" kind of document. Hey, chivalry is a wonderful thing!
And, just who might is this mysterious Breeze be? Well, he's an old flame, rekindled "hotter than a pepper sprout" (as Johnny and June Cash sang in the song "Jackson") after nearly a decade of separation. Indeed, I had no recent photographs of them to show you and have resorted to the one shown here (stolen from Wawa's blog) with Thriller and Breeze in birthday hats at Kyle and Thriller's birthday party in July. Hmmm, come to think of it, I haven't seen Thriller since the party in July.
Now here's the strange part. I had a premonition that this was going to transpire over the Labor Day Weekend. Don't ask me why or how. I just did. I also had visions of walking down the aisle in a tuxedo with bright yellow pins sticking out of my left hand.
The timing of the nuptials has not been set. That of course, is not something for me to decide. But, Thriller, be aware that whenever they are, I ain't shaving my beard or cutting my hair for it. I will get Kermit to trim them up a bit. And, make sure Bliss picks out a new CB&H tee-shirt for me that doesn't clash with the color of the bride's maids dresses.
