All Good Things Must End
We awoke to a beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean this morning.
Ocean Isle Beach runs east to west rather than north to south as many folks think. Accordingly, during a part of fall and winter when the days are short, the sun both rises and sets over the ocean. Yet, while solar appearances and disappearances can be spectacular, I do not think they hold a candle to a moonrise over the ocean.
Following breakfast, the CFO and I headed back to Cary by way of I-40. If ever a stretch of road could accommodate cars running themselves on autopilot, this would be it. It's mind-numbing in its lack of character, unless, of course, you just like driving through never-ending stands of pine trees.
Thanks for the weekend, Sis.
