Beck's

We had dinner tonight at Beck's down in Calabash. Founded in 1940, it is the original Calabash-style seafood restaurant.

Lightly breaded and deep fried, the food will kill you but what a wonderful way to go. Even Nesbitt would have liked the oysters.

We all ordered "Senior Citizen" plates and between the two entries, slaw, French fries, and hush puppies we all had plenty.

The place has gotten a little non-traditional with items like Alaskan king crab legs, but it's still worth a visit.
