Well, folks, here we are on beautiful Ocean Isle Beach today with my sister and her husband.


We were able to take a nice walk before the wind and rain is scheduled to arrive later today. These gull are all set to weather the storm.


These seven-figure houses on the west end are now sandbagging it as a result of beach erosion.


On the way down we stopped in the downtown historic district of Wilmington for lunch.


The Front Street Brewery is perhaps my favorite spot there.


They are a microbrewery that makes a very nice Scottish Ale.


And, they have wonderful face food as well for lunch and dinner.
