Bump in the Alaskan Highway

Sarah Palin's march to the 2012 presidential election hit a bump in the road yesterday. Seems that with 2500 votes yet to be counted, challenger Mark Begich has taken a lead of 3724 votes over Senator and seven-times convicted felon Ted Stevens of Alaska. That means the newly elected Senate will not have the opportunity to expel Stevens, thus disallowing Palin the opportunity to gain a high-profile appointment as his replacement in Washington.

Oh, well. Back to moose hunting.

But, realistically, Sarah, you must admit that you really didn't have the clothes for the job after returning that $140,000 wardrobe to the RNC. And, on the bright side, you will now have the time to study up on that African country of ... ah ... Africa.
