Golden Ale

Here's my third beer, a golden ale. It's a lighter American beer and, more specifically, a Northwest U.S. style of beer. In addition to West Coast hops and yeast, it was made with about 20% corn and wheat grains which I bought as chicken starch!

At first I didn't care for this beer. But, after aging it in the bottle for about three weeks, I've decided it is OK after all. It's just a great deal lighter than the European ales that I prefer.

My second Scottish Ale is now in secondary fermentation and has a great deal of promise. After I bottle that, I'll make an ESB from a kit that Matteo gave me for Christmas.
