The Natives Are Restless
The number of telephone calls inquiring about the opening date for the shop are increasing. I'm still giving March 1 as a target date.
I actually made the first pot of coffee today from commercial Dunkin Donut beans. I didn't know how to operate the coffee maker, the volume of water or the correct amount of coffee beans for that volume and, as a result, the results were less than perfect. Three guys show up, however, wanting to buy a cup of coffee. I refused, giving them a cup instead with the admonition that it was wanting. They seemed happy nevertheless.
So, not only did I make the first pot of coffee, I served the first cups today!
Today was mostly dedicated to infrastructure work on a 230 vac line for the espresso machine (it is very Italian and the Europeans like the big voltages for their appliances) and plumbing for the sinks. I had hoped to finish them but didn't. Tomorrow.
