The Cookie Muncher
Ryan, the Cookie Muncher, visited Backwoods Bean with his Mom today and modeled the "Minnie Pearl" hat in the Garden Nook.
In fact, so many folks came today that I got nothing done toward completing the shop. The good news is that, if I took the time to do the arithmetic, I probably broke even today and perhaps even made a little profit. based on product cost and overhead. The labor, of course, is damn cheap!
No sooner had the lady from the bank installed the credit card machine and left than someone came in and payed for their purchases with it. By 6:30 in the evening the money's in your bank account. Ka-ching.
Two high school girls showed up and didn't want anything on the menu board. They wanted a "frappacinno" which turns out to be something of cross between a frappe and a cappuccino. I can do that and, sure enough, "frappacinno" in a wide variety of flavors will be tomorrow's special. Ka-ching.
Sold a painted river rock. Ka-ching.
Gotta get the espresso machine going tomorrow.
