Yes, my posting habits have gone to the dogs this summer. They are not the result of laziness. Rather, I attribute them to distraction and a finite amount of time and energy. And that I attribute to the Backwoods Bean Coffee Shop. However, wishing to avoid following the example Sarah Palin in cowardly resignation, I have resolved to resume postings, hopefully on a daily basis, in an abbreviated form: short, sweet and to the point.

That means, unfortunately, you will likely read, in an indirect fashion, more about the coffee shop than you care to know. But, if can suffer with my use on this vehicle for delivering the message, you will find a great deal about the nature of human beings. Good and bad!
