The Beat Goes On ...
It seems as if that every morning when I look at the local news there another shooting incidence. All too often it is by a black felon who illegally possesses a firearm and all too often one who shoots into a house or automobile in the black neighborhoods of our town.
We hear cries from blacks living in the neighborhoods to do something about it. Yesterday one of the organizations asked for the CITY to provide something for black children in these neighborhoods to do as a deterrent. But he said nothing about the PARENTS doing something as a deterrent to the criminal behavior of their children. The behavior of their children is not the responsibility of their city.
And the beat goes on ...
