The Mythical Arrow of Time
So here we see a broken cup and an unbroken cup. You surmised that the unbroken cup on the right fell and become the broken cup as seen on the left. But is that the case? Could it not be the case that the broken cup on the left was pieced back together with glue to become the hole cup shown on the right?
The mythical arrow of time is then simply the order -- the "direction" -- in which the change occurred and has nothing to do with the relative rate at which the two changes occurred. In the first case, the arrow points right to left but in the second case, the arrow points from left to right.. And that direction had nothing to do with mythical time.
No, it is not the arrow time. It is the arrow of change. Only our illusion of "time" produces the illusion of an "arrow of time" from the sequential images in our brain of reflecting change.
