Omar the Enemy.

Yesterday the US House of Representatives voted to remove Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Relations Committee over antisemitism comments she had previously made about Israel. Good for them. 

Omar, a black, Muslim woman born in Somalia, has said " "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel." She supports the Palestinian "Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions" (BDS) which demands the withdrawal of Israel territories previously occupied by Palestinians, the removal of the separation barrier  in the West Bank and full equality for Arab-Palestinian living in Israel. In 2021 she made comments equating Israel and the U.S. with the terrorist group Hamas and the Taliban.

She added "A lot of our Jewish colleagues, a lot of our constituents, a lot of our allies, (think) that everything we say about Israel (is) anti-Semitic because we are Muslim." 

No she is  anti-Semitic because she is anti-Semite. Anyone you said what she said is anti-Semitic. 

After being remove for the committee she said "I am an American. An American who was sent here by her constituents to represent them in Congress," Yes, she is an American citizen and, yes, she is US representative. But, no, she is not an American. If she wants to be an American she should act like one and not a mouthpiece for the Palestinians.
