The Funeral of Tyre Nichols

On January 7, 2023, five Black police officers of the Memphis Police Department (MPD), severely beat Tyre Nichols, a 29-year-old Black man, during a traffic stop. Nichols was hospitalized in critical condition and died three days later. Today a funeral is being held for Tyre Nichols in the half-filled Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church in Memphis with Al Sharpton and Kamala Harris in attendance at a live nationally televised funeral service. Those are the facts.

Since January 7, 2023 about 460 other Blacks have been murdered across the nation. Of these 460, about 410 were murdered by other Blacks. How many of their funerals do you suppose were attended by Al Sharpton and Kamala Harris and broadcast live on national television? Those are also the facts.

Yes, Blacks are killed by police at a rate 2.5 times that of whites ... sometimes even by Black cops.  Wonder why? Could it be that blacks offenders are more likely to kill you than white offenders?

Do you suppose that Tyre Nichols might still be alive today had he simply followed police orders and not resisted arrest for quarter of an hour?
