Corn
I was in the fair city of Galax yesterday for a follow-up visit with the dentist and all is well. Gasoline there was $2.07 for regular and I availed myself of the opportunity to pay the lower Virginia road use tax.
Since it was Thursday, I stopped by the Alleghany Cares Thrift Shop on the way home to do a little early Christmas shopping and found this tee shirt for a buck. I immediately thought of Lyle.
It reads "IOWA where you just can't get enough CORN". Now, I've never had a handle for Lyle who just happens to be a native of Iowa. Henceforth, after seeing this tee shirt which bears a fair resemblance of him while operating a motor vehicle, he is now officially "The Corn Man" or just "Corn" for short.
