Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven ...

Ask any Christian and they'll tell you that they want to go to heaven. Just cannot wait for the day, they say. But when they become seriously ill the first thing they ask for is your prayers to help them regain their health. Or whenever they go off to war, they ask for your prayers for a safe return. Shouldn't they actually be asking for your prayers to help them die instead?

As the old spiritual goes:

"Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die."

Hmmm .... Christianity is a strange religion.
