Animal Homicides

 The news media is all atwitter that " 38,222 small fish were potentially killed as a result of the (recent Ohio) derailment, as well as an additional 5,500 other species of fish, amphibians and other creatures." It is truly amazing at what lengths that will go to sensationalize a news story:headline: "Estimated animal death toll from Ohio train derailment tops 43,700"

If they really want a dead animal headline perhaps they could report that 25.4 million chickens are "murdered" each and every day in the United States as food. Yes, 25.4 million a day, not an estimated  43,700 one time. 

Media, get a life.
